Manga Update

As of mid-February 2026, the One Piece manga has 1,173 chapters officially published.

The next chapter, 1,174, is scheduled to be released on February 15, 2026 (in Western time zones) / February 16, 2026 (in Japan).

Current Manga Status

Toei Animation recently shifted the show’s production strategy to improve quality and pacing. Here is the breakdown of what’s happening:

  • Current Arc: The story is deep into the Elbaph Arc, focusing on the “War of the Giants” and the conflict involving the God’s Knights
  • Release Pace: Eiichiro Oda continues to maintain a schedule of roughly three chapters followed by a one-week break. After the release of Chapter 1,174, the series is expected to take a brief one-week hiatus before Chapter 1,175.
  • Milestones: With the manga now well past chapter 1,100, the narrative has firmly entered the “Final Saga,” where major world mysteries are finally being unraveled.
